Hello! I'm Ewan Oliver, a chartered landscape architect with 25 years’ experience in placeshaping. I've spent 10 of these years, in client-side roles developing an invaluable insider perspective that helps me get to the root of the challenges my clients face and turn them into opportunities. My work is underpinned by a desire to create value by shaping thriving places for people and nature.

Project and Development Management
Exceptional places start with an inspirational vision and a design brief that captures the imagination of stakeholders and the design team itself. With 10 years client-side experience in property and infrastructure, I'm an expert in developing public realm and landscape visions and can assemble and steer your dream design team.
Landscape and Public Realm Design
Providing freelance landscape design services to architecture and landscape practices, I work flexibly, either dropping into existing project teams or providing standalone landscape designs. I also bid for projects independently and have an extensive network of skilled professionals if a larger team is required.
Landscape Construction Supervision
As an experienced landscape clerk of works I've helped to deliver some of the most complex public realm and infrastructure projects in the UK, such as the London Olympic Park and Thames Tideway Tunnel. I can supervise your landscape project, ensuring that it gets delivered as designed.
Garden
Design
I started my career 30 years ago as a design and build landscape contractor and have delivered a large number of private gardens from city courtyards up to 10 acre country properties. Working with nature, I design gardens that connect my clients with nature, giving them a sanctuary to relax and play in.
